Dear Ms. Pierce,
My name is Chelsea Shields-Mas and I am a senior at Mount
Holyoke College (host of IDA Nationals 2008). My horse has
trained with both Rebecca Schurink and Paula Pierce, and I have
been a member of the Mount Holyoke IDA Dressage Team.
I will be heading off to graduate school in the fall and am
looking to lease out my dressage horse (Goodnight Moon, aka
"Danny") for the period I am away.
Danny is an extremely athletic, eye-catching leopard Appaloosa
sport horse gelding who is currently schooling Second level and
definitely has the talent and potential to move higher up the
levels. Already he has learned the trot half pass and has a
brilliant medium trot. The link below is to an online video of

As you are someone with extensive experience in the dressage
world, I was wondering if you have any contacts who might
possibly be interested in leasing this fantastic horse and I
would very much appreciate any suggestions that you might have.

Sport horse gelding, 12 years old, 15.3 hh.
- Danny is
extraordinarily athletic and is currently schooling Second Level
dressage.
- He has been shown
successfully at First Level.
- Danny has also
schooled half pass at the trot and has an amazing medium trot.

ridden in clinics with both Lendon Gray and Eric Horgan.

has excellent ground manners and loves attention.
