Certified, MA Licensed Instructor and Trainer, Barbara Pierce
has over twenty years experience in the equestrian business.
Her specialties include starting young horses under saddle, and
finishing the green horse, as well as teaching many disciplines to
riders of all ages and abilities. Her philosophies and work ethic reflect the high standards and good horsemanship that she incorporates into her lesson program and show team code of conduct. With safe, goal oriented, progressive lessons, she promotes students skill level, confidence, and good sportsmanship. Training specialties include lunging, long lining, round pen techniques for clarification of proper ground work, starting young horses under saddle, cavaletti and jumping gymnastics, performance horse interval training, and the implementation of the German Dressage Training Scale for Dressage, Hunter/Jumper and Event Prospects.
